About Midwest.Events
Who we are
Midwest.Events is an independent guide to fairs, festivals, shows and one-of-a-kind days out across the Great Lakes and Midwest. It's built and run from Cleveland, Ohio, by Ward Creative Studio. We don't sell tickets, and organizers can't pay to change what a listing says.
How we check events
- We start from the source. Every listing links back to the organizer's own website or official listing, so you can check it yourself.
- Dates and places come first. An event only goes live once it has a date and a location we can put on the map. If we can't pin down where it is, it stays off the site.
- We don't guess. If an organizer hasn't published a price or daily hours, we say so instead of filling one in. A listing marked "Price TBC" or "hours not published" means exactly that.
- We re-check. When we confirm a listing against the organizer's information again, the event page shows the date of that check under "Know before you go." Details we couldn't confirm carry a warning to check the official site before you drive.
- No duplicates. New events are checked against what's already listed, so the same festival doesn't show up twice.
- Organizers can submit and correct. Events added through Submit an Event are reviewed by a person before they appear.

Dates move and events get cancelled. If something's wrong, email info@midwest.events with the event name and what's changed. We read every message and fix listings as fast as we can.
